the book high heat is a easy but yet fun book to read! It will leave you wondering about what will happen next. the main character is shane, he lives in shorelock! He loves to play baseball and he is the closer picher for shorelock! His dad sells cars and he got introuble with some drug dealers and he didnt know! the cops showed up at his sons baseball game and they arested him. the next day his father gos into his study room and he kills him self! the family had to sell their house and move to a low run down duplex. shane gets introuble by stealing beer and drinking it while his mom is at work on 3rd! so far the book is good! the best part is after every chapter it will leave you hanging wanting to read more and more!

In High Heat Shane gets in trouble for stealing beer by having his friends have the cashier count change while Shane steals the beer. They would go drinking in a dark alley with his friends. One day they got caught by the police and went to court. the judge decided to have Shane play baseball for Whitman. His first game went well, thay won.

Shane is no longer the relif picther. He hit reese in the head and he can’t picth good because of that. He always gets nervous when he picthes. He lost the last 4 games for his team. He got mover to the outfield for now.
Will Shane get in his picthing arm back?
Will he ever picth again?

Now in the book Shane is on a baseball team again and hit a homerun. Also Miguel wanted Shane to play soccer but Shane didn’t to play because he said he was realy bad.
Later I think Shane might play soccer.
Also i think he might ref a basketball team.
