so far in this book they talked about sam and how he has to take care of his child max a lot. Sam is failing his classes, because of max. Hes always taking care of his child and never has time to study or do homewok and he sleeps in class. Sam has a crush on a girl named claire. He has a class with her and at that class your allowed to bring your babies. so they talk aobut babies a lot. Britany is the mother of max. But since she moved far away, sam has to take care of him now. Then sam goes to claires house. Instead of talking about the SAT, they talked about their babies and how cute they were. They then hhad a flash back talking about brittany, and how she was pregnant. We all like this book but it can get really confusing especially when they talk about the flash backs. Its an interesting book im going to have to say. We predict that sam will eventually be going out with claire and then hes not going to pay much attention to max. Then we predict if that happens that max will get really sick and sam has to whatever he can to get him better.

Today the in the reading Claire and Sam have gotten alot closer to each other. I think Sam might be eventually wanting to ask Claire out because they have so much in common. Today their were alot of flashbacks of when Max (Julian) was born. I remember Sam being afraid to hold Max, because he didn’t know what to think, and he ws scared. Brittney’s parent’s (parents of the mother of Max) told Sam to tell his dad that he is suppossed to pay for half of the bill.

This was about Sam had to take his SAT’s and he saw his best friend Andy. Andy didn’t talk to him at first since Sam didn’t cal back when Andy asked him to go to the basket ball game. Andy talked to Sam at the end, and they were all kidding around. So you could tell that they weren’t mad. At one point of these chapterthey went back to the past when Sam came home in the fourth grade and there was a nurse with his mom. Sam got scared and told the nurse to leave, That’s the day his maom died from cancer. I think that next rading Sam and Claire will hang out more.

The chapters 16-18 were about how sam appeared to be taking care of max instead of him getting adopted. Also sams dad saw his SAT as if he did bad on them but then we found out he just doesnt want him to go to college. He wants him to work for a guy he knows. Then sams dad got in an arguement with his aunt and they argued about how his aunt wants him to go to college and sams dad thinks he should work for a guy he knows. I predict that sam acutally did really good on his SAT but his dad doesnt want him to know.

Claire, Emily and Sam and Max went to Andy’s house and other friends that he havnt seen for a while. Sam enjoyed it because he felt more like a kid again. Max had to get stiches because Jenny dropped glass on the ground, there was blood all over Jenny and Max. I predict that Sam will put Max up for adoption.

He went on a walk with claire and there he talked about him going to give max up for adoption. Claire thought he was way out of his mind. So then they sam went home and talked with his dad about if he should put max up for adoption or not. Well he ends up putting him up for adoption. What will happen to sams future, will he end up seeing max again, or will he just live alone? Read the book to find out.
